About Seymours Transport

History

A family business spanning four generations "Seymours" started in 1928 with Wilfred Seymour buying the local blacksmith business in Toogoolawah. This business grew with addition of his son, John, who was instrumental in the change from horsepower to engine power thus the association with trucks had started.

The next generation, Don Seymour, put the used trucks from the Dealership to work in 1970 thus Seymours Transport was born. Don expanded the business through diversification into the hardwood logging and general freight sectors.

Carl Seymour joined the business in 2000 and has driven the business into the Oil & Gas sector whilst maintaining a presence in the Logging and general freight sectors. We are a proud Australian owned and operated business currently employing approximately 65 people and operates over 200 items of plant.
